Our Commitment
For decades the construction industry accepted the paradigm that accidents and injuries are simply an undesirable but inherent part of the business. Our shift away from this paradigm required not only an uncompromising management commitment to safe work, but also the incorporation of safe work planning into everything we do.
We provide our craftsmen with the tools, equipment, training and safe work planning required to create the safest industrial construction sites in the country. Our experience confirms that zero incident construction can be a reality.
Safe work planning begins at the proposal phase of a project with the identification of resources required to perform the work safely and the commitment to provide those resources. This effort includes analyzing all available information to determine optimal site layout, permissible plot densities, preferred tools and equipment and proper work sequencing.
At the site level, field management is held accountable to plan daily work activities in the safest possible manner and to utilize the resources required to carry out the plans. Superintendents, field engineers and craft foremen collaborate weekly to form detailed work schedules that identify activities to be performed and the work processes required to perform those activities safely.
